Tentative Itinerary
May 12 Domestic flights to Newark, NJ. Afternoon departure on El Al Airlines.
Complimentary in-flight meals, beverages, movies and music while you
rest.
May 13 Arrive Ben-Gurion Airport. Meeting and departure to Eretz Israel Museum to
visit Independence Hall where Declaration of Independence was written and read on
May 14,1948. Depart for Jerusalem, special welcome by guide and panoramic view
of the city. Continue to the Novotel Hotel for check-in and dinner.
May 14 After breakfast, commence sightseeing in Jerusalem. Visit Mt. of Olives,
Gethsemane, Church of all Nations, Western Wall, Temple Area, Old City, Church of
St. Anne, Pools of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, the Roman Cardo Road, The Burnt
House, Church of Holy Sepulchre and the Garden Tomb. On to Mt. Zion to visit
Upper Room, Tomb of David, House of Caiaphas, Ophel Archeological Park,
Davidson Center, Western Wall Excavations and The Tower of David. Return to
hotel for dinner.
May 15 After breakfast, visit new city of Jerusalem, participation in the feast of the
60th anniversary of Israel. Visit the Knesset Israel Menorah, the Supreme Court of
Justice, Yad Vashem (th Holocaust Museum), the Israel Museum (Shrine of the book
and Model of Jerusalem) and Book Store, Rabbin’s Tomb at Mt. Herzl. Evening
program of dance (subject to confirmation.) Dinner at hotel.
May 16 After breakfast, depart for The Temple Institute and Hadassah Hospital-
Chagal Windows. On to Bethlehem Border to visit Church of the Nativity, Shepherd’s
Fields, and Herodion. Return to hotel and dinner.
May 17 Sabbath - breakfast – Our last day in Jerusalem is free for special activities.
May 18 After breakfast check-out hotel and depart for Dead Sea, see Maaleh
Adumin. On to visit Qumran where Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, Ahava
Factory, Ein Gedi, and on to Massada to visit mountain and fortifications. Check-in
Le Merdien Hotel and dinner.
May 19 After breakfast - free time to enjoy float in Dead Sea. Late morning check-
out and departure to Nazareth to visit Nazareth Village, Church of Annunciation, St.
Joseph’s workshop, and Mary’ Well. Continue to Village of Cana where water was
turned to wine. Check-in Sheraton Tiberius Hotel on Sea of Galilee and dinner.
May 20 Breakfast, morning boat ride on Sea of Galilee, visit Church of the Primacy
(Commissiom of Peter to feed my sheep), Capernaum (Synagogue and The House
of St. Peter), Tabgha Miracle of Fish and Loaves, and the Mt. of Beatitudes. St. Peter’
s Fish for lunch (cost included in tour.) On to Maria Magdalena then to Nof Ginossar
Kibbutz and Ancient Boat Museum. Return to hotel for dinner.
May 21 Visit Safed (the center of Kabbalah) and Ha’ari Synagogue. On to Golan
Heights to visit fortifications. Visit Korazim Synagogue (one of the loveliest in
Israel) in Korazim National Park. On to Yardenit Baptismal Center on the Jordan
River. Please let us know if you wish to be baptized. Prayer and singing. Return to
hotel for dinner.
May 22 Breakfast – prepare for late morning check-out and departure. On to Haifa,
visit the Carmelite Monastery and Elijah’s Cave. See panoramic view of Haifa
coastland and the Baha’i Temple Gardens. Visit Caesarea Archaeological Sites (At
Caesarea Peter shared gospel with Cornelius,a Roman centurion who became the
first Gentile convert.) Then on to Jaffa (where Peter at House of Simon the Tanner
had the vision to take the gospel to gentiles.) Farewell dinner in Tel Aviv and
departure for airport.
May 23 Late night departure to Newark NJ on El Al Airlines. Complimentary in-flight
meals, beverages, movies and music while you rest and reflect on your wonderful
memories. Arrive in Charleston early afternoon.
Price: $2,800.00* from Charleston to Tel Aviv and back, based on double
occupancy. Single travelers will be given a room mate. If you desire a single room,
add $530.00 to the above price.
*This could change if airline tax and fuel surcharge goes up until tickets are issued.
Once tickets are issued they are non-refundable.
Price Includes: Deluxe air-conditioned motor coach, hotel rooms, breakfast and
dinner daily. English speaking Israeli tour guide, entrance fees and tips. Allow one
suitcase and one carry on per person.
Deposit: $250 deposit required to reserve place on tour. First payment of $1,500
due 2/1/2008.
Final payment of $1,050.00 due 4/1/08. Make check payable to Open Door Ministries.
Passport: A valid US passport good until December, 2008 is required for entrance to
Israel. You need to secure your passport now. We need a copy of your passport to
finalize reservations.
Other costs: Lunch and tip each day. Purified water which can be purchased on
bus and other personal items. Activities on your own.

This itinerary has to be flexible to allow the Holy Spirit to work. It is a custom tour
