How many times have we watched the Beverly Hillbillies and laughed until we
couldn’t laugh anymore? We were always amused at their ignorance; thinking,
“How could anyone be this naive, this ignorant?”
Here they were, living in a mansion full of luxuries and blessings. Everything
they needed to make life easier was right at their fingertips. Yet, we see them
too ignorant to make use of all that was given to them. If, by chance, they did use
one of their many benefits, they misused it.
We watch this show and laugh at how they could live in a mansion with many
blessings and never realize what really belonged to them. The Clampetts never
knew all they had a right to or how to use it.
They were rich, yet they lived in poverty. They were brought out of the deepest
and darkest hollow, a place of bondage with no way out, but a way was made for
them and they were moved from the shack in the hollow to a mansion in Beverly
Hills.
They were blessed with a place where all their needs could be met. It truly was a
mansion that was fit for a king. This new home was a place where they could live
like royalty, yet they refused to change. Yes, their surroundings changed and
yes, even their address changed. They were now part of a different world, a
group of people unlike any other, but they refused to change!
WELCOME TO THE CHURCH OF TODAY - THE KINGDOM HILLBILLIES
We, too, were brought out of bondage, out of darkness. We were transformed
from darkness to light. Through the precious blood of Jesus we were adopted as
His own and became children of the King!
Glory Hallelujah! Our address changed. We are now sons and daughters of the
King. We are now able to partake of the King’s table. Blessed be the God and
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing
in the heavenly places in Christ. Ephesians 1:3
Believers, God has placed us in the King’s Palace, a mansion complete with
blessings. He has set before us a banquet table and says, “Come and dine!” He
abundantly placed gifts all around us and said, “Here, my children, they now
belong to you. Open them, enjoy them.” This book will help you to do just that!
Many believers are living as Kingdom Hillbillies and it is time for the church to
live in all her abundance! God has a great destiny for your life, be determined to
fulfill it. Be determined not to be a Kingdom Hillbilly! Get ready for the best kind
of living, Kingdom living!
