David and Paula Moore, international ministers with Open Door
Ministries International and Sar Shalom Bible Center, recently
journeyed to Colombo Sri Lanka to take the Gospel of Jesus
and the Jewish roots of the church to the people there. Sri
Lanka is a volcanic island off the coast of India. It is about the
size of the state of West Virginia and has a population of about
19 million. Among the estimated 31,000 villiages, 25,000 have
no Christian church. Of the eight hosting churches they
ministered with, all had an intense desire to search out Jewish
truths and had been given awesome visions by God for the
direction He wanted their ministries to go.
The vision for Revolution September was birthed through
Waruna Thewarapperuma of Colombo. He was totally lead of
the Lord as to who to approach about meetings. Divine
appointments were the major theme of the mission as the very
first day God was setting HIs plan into motion!

The Lord provided many confirmations that this trip
was indeed ordained by heaven! Who would have
thought we would find menorahs in the heart of Sri
Lanka? One church even had an outside baptistery,
which closely resembled a Jewish mikveh!

| The Pastors had a strong desire to seek out the Jewish roots of their faith. Many had been radically delivered of drug addictions at the time of their conversions. All welcomed us with open arms and look excitedly toward the next mission. A crusade is in the planning for next September that will welcome over 300 Pastors alone! |

| On Thursday September 13, Rosh HaShanah, Brother Waruna was baptized and ordained in a private ceremony at his home. We count it a privilege and honor to have him on the Open Door Ministries International team! |
